We work with businesses to design that first impression deliberately — building scentscapes that align with your brand, your environment, and the experience you want your guests to carry with them long after they leave.

We partner with wellness centers, saunas, spas, boutique hotels, retail environments, and any space where atmosphere is part of the offering. If your guests’ experience matters to you, scent belongs in the conversation.

The Consultation Process

01 — Discovery & Brand Immersion
We begin by understanding your business — your brand values, your clientele, the mood you want to create, and the spaces involved. This is a conversation, not a questionnaire. We listen for the details that reveal what your environment should feel like.

02 — Scent Mapping
Every space is different. A sauna requires a different olfactory approach than a reception area or a treatment room. We develop a scent map — a spatial plan that identifies which scents belong where, how they transition, and how they work together to create a coherent sensory journey through your environment.

03 — Scentscape Design
Using the scent map as a foundation, we develop the specific fragrance directions for each zone — selecting or formulating scents that serve the function and feeling of each space. We consider diffusion method, intensity, seasonality, and guest dwell time.

04 — Implementation & Guidance
We provide clear implementation guidance — how to diffuse, when to diffuse, how to maintain consistency across your space over time. We remain available for refinement as your environment evolves.

What to Expect

Timeline
Most consulting engagements run 4–8 weeks from initial consultation to final scentscape delivery, depending on the size and complexity of the space.

Deliverables
You receive a complete scent map for your space, fragrance direction documentation for each zone, implementation guidelines and access to the full selection our studios fragrances and custom formulations where applicable.

Pricing
Engagements are scoped and priced based on the number of zones, the complexity of the brief, and whether custom formulation is involved. Pricing is discussed during the initial consultation.

Our Approach

Scent is not decoration. It is architecture. At Fitzroy Studios, we treat spatial fragrance as a design discipline — one that requires the same rigor, intention, and craft as any other element of a well-considered environment. We work in small engagements, with full attention, and we do not take on projects we cannot do well.
